Unhelpfull and confusing feedback

I requested that i use my OWN number on a new cell c contract and was advised by the sales person who captured my application that it would not be a problem. Since having received the new phone on the 14/08/2013 I've been given nothing but hassles and false promises from the call center at cell c. After making numerous calls to them and each time being promised that my request would be actioned I'm still stuck with the number THEY gave me. All i wanted was just to use my OWN number but something as simple as that has left me confused to the point that i would like them to take back their handset and we rather cut all ties. I've heard so many different stories from the agents there and was even told that they would bill me for wanting to use my own number when that was discussed the very FISRT time i spoke to one of their consultants but every time i call in to query the blame is passed around with no one assisting me. All i wanted was to use to my OWN number but the experience has left a bitter impression and come to think that this is the first time I'm dealing with cell c. I really hope they get their act together and pull their socks up
