I have been a cell c network user for numerous years, a consultant had approached me and said I could keep my number but have the benefits of a contract so I agreed to it.

However after being involved in a horrific car accident my phone was never recovered. I was advised a sim swop will allow me to get my number back.

Cell c consultants had given me a run around. I called customer service who instructed i go in store. I did and they told me its a follow up procedure. Since november last year I've been trying to get my number back keep phoning customer care.

eventually on my last call to cell c customer care because I never got feed back from them, I find out my number had been recycled, because it was not in use for 30 days and was given to someone else, However I was not notified of this nor did I authorize it. I am struggling 2 get my number back.

Obviously cell c agents could see on the system, how long the number was in use by me and I was trying to do a sim swop. I feel cell c no longer cares about existing clients but rather looking for the next person to pull into its network. I'm disgusted to know that after years of being a client with cell c they have no regard for me.
