I received an sms on my mobile advising me that I owe over R800, I immediately called Telkom to find out, how a R499 contract, comes to R800. they then gave me the ran around about date on inception and extra cost . etc, etc. The Bottom line is, If I took the contract on the 15th of Jan, I should be charged 50% of the Package and not 85% of the package. With much disagreement and over 45 mins per call @ 7 to 8 calls, I found no solution. I paid them R857.00 this month, and they disconnected me on the 6th of Aug, saying that I owe R64.00 . I don't receive statements, neither do I receive a phone to discuss, they decide that they will disconnect. I have requested immediate cancelation of this line, and All my money paid back for a facility that I don't have use off and that I have paid in Full. I will refuse to be treated like a.
