I have been with MTN since the beginning 1994. The signal in my area was better than all other providers. Last year the signal began to deteriorate rapidly. After my many complaints and repeated requests since January this year, first through the required channel and then directly to a technician who's number I managed to, a 'booster' and aerial setup was installed. This improved the situation marginally for a short period. For more than three months now I have had the problem of dropped data signal, sometimes so bad that I have to shut my modem down every 5 minutes to get a connection just to send an email. Extremely frustrating and not the service I pay for. For more than 2months I have asked for service... but no response. I have now attained the new technicians number through my contact and will be harassing him continuously until it is fixed. I know through feedback that the technicians are way under staffed... this is obviously because MTN doesn't give a about there clients. Firstly I want a service and secondly I want compensation... wake up MTN and contact me!
