MTN - SERVICE TERRIBLE!

I have been having some problems with my MTN account (the same thing happened to me at exactly the same time last year with the same amount). It has been almost one month with nobody able to give me any feedback. My account has once again miraculously came to R1850.00 when I have not been using my phone that much.
Last year the feedback I received was "there is nothing you can do but pay or they will cut your line". Thinking they could be right, I paid for it since I was leaving the country within 5 days and could not afford for my phone not to work (they never provided any feedback, proof or tried to resolve my issue, and could not explain the errors on the their screen). This time I am not getting ANY response from anybody. I am only told at every store that there is nothing they can do, there is no regional manager that I can talk to, and the one person they refer me to at their head office does not take calls from customers.
I am totally fed up with this bad service and feel I would rather pay R5000 and have my contract terminated then carry on with this provider!
Do not take out any contracts with MTN, its not worth the hassle - the same thing might happen to you!
