I have been a new subscriber to Telkom for both a line rental as well as service provider on my ADSL line. I have had one problem after another since upgrading my line to a 4MB uncapped line. My line speed is constantly an issue. I get speed of under 1MB for a large part of the time and every time I need to phone in for my ports to be re-created (not sure what this does). I have also been out of service for over a week, It have been subsequently re-connected, only to be shut down again after 2 days.
I am paying a massive premium to be on a line that is not working and does not operate anywhere near what I am paying for. Even when it does work it operates at best under 3.5MB (which is significantly throttled). I have a list of 8 different reference numbers from Telkom and still my service is not working.
