I was using a 2mb line from Telkom and was then upgraded to a "4mb" line. i have been phoning them since November 2013 asking why it is i am only getting the speeds of a 2mb line still. They kept spinning stories its because of my line is congested.. which is complete none sense as i even taken the time to run speed tests on the line at 12am and even 6am and i keep getting the same constant line speed. which means they are lying to me about what is happening with my line speed. when i speak to a consultante and the "reset" my ports my line magically starts putting out 4mb line speeds but as soon as i get off the line with them the modem lights go off and suddenly im back to 2mb line speeds. i then phone again on the 8th of January 2014 and i then find out they "say" im on a 4mb line but have capped it at 2mb! which mean again i have been to and basically Telkom is from me because i am paying the full amount for the line and they are just setting the speed to what ever they want and its less then what was promised.
