I contacted the call centre in connection with a HUGE bill that I have received. Yes I was overseas but as explained to all 4 consultants, my phone did not work unless it was connected to wifi so the data charges for those days make absolutely no sense.
The second week, I made sure I only connected to wifi when using the internet as I knew my phone was finally working again. I cannot pay the bill; I have asked for a detailed data report.
After logging my complaint the 1st time I was told I would be contacted by technical within 24 hours, 30 hours later I contacted the centre again & the matter was escalated. Yesterday after still having no response for 4 days I contacted the centre once again only to be informed that my case had been closed. When asked why, I was told I never submitted the required documentation. NOT ONCE during any conversation was I told to send in documents & NO ONE has contacted me requesting this.
I find your call centre staff to be incompetent & rude! (only 1manager treated me kindly & tried to assist I am so frustrated with Vodacom service) I find it ridiculous that I need to fax an ID copy (which u have on file) & send my request in writing
