Double Billing unsolved

A year ago (February 2012) I moved house and went to the Telkom office at Tygervalley Shopping Centre to have my line disconnected and apply for a new line to be installed at the new address. When I received my bill at the end of the following month I was still being billed for the previous address. After a long conversation with the call-centre I was assured this would be corrected, but it wasn't. Over the course of the next few months I spent hours on the line to call-centres, everytime being assured that the problem is solved, and it never was. Eventually my phone was suspended, which affected my business which I run from home. Once again (I have exact records) I phoned the call-centre, and was assured they would correct the problem, and reverse the suspension, which they didn't. I was contacted by Telkom's lawyers, which had been instructed to contact me regarding my account. I explained my dilemma and never heard from them again. Eventually my line was cut because I wouldn't make the double payments. My bill has now escalated into the thousands, and I have no resort except legal defense. I went to Cape Gate store, and was told to phone call centre, which I did with same result
