Telkom ADSL cannot be repaired in Douglasdale

On 2 July I reported a fault on my ADSL line. On 5 July I had called 10210 to get a progress update and was told that a technician had not been assigned to the problem.
I have been calling 10210 every 2nd for the past three weeks and have visited the customer care centre at Fourways Crossing three times.

Each time I have been told that there is a fault in the area and the problem has not been assigned to a technician. I have tested my router - which works perfectly. I have checked with my ISP if there are any issues on their side - there are none. Today the customer care centre reported that the problem was repaired on July 5th. I then called 10210 who said the problem was repaired on July 19.
Eventually it was revealed that:
There is an ADSL problem in the Douglasdale area.
They do not know where the fault is coming from.
They do not know how to repair it and have no idea when the service will be restored.

This incompetence is affecting me financially as I work from home and depend on the internet. If the issue is not resolved by 12:00 on Friday 26 July 2013, I will have no choice but to cancel my line.
