Running debits on any dates without permission

When I signed my contract I signed my debit order date for the last day of the month. Last month Vodacom decided that they debitting my account on the 28th. Due to my salary not being paid yet my debit came back returned. I phoned and queried this. They then inormed me that they carging me penalties for this return debit. I said I refused to pay this as I was not informed that the debit date would be earlier. I did an eft for the outstanding amount. They then tried to debit me again on the 7th. I stopped this payment as I paid via EFT already. So they charging me another R100 penalty for this unpaid debit. I phoned and logged a query on the 10/07. They sent me an sms with a ref no and said someone will look into this and contact me within 48 hours. Today I phoned them as I have not heard from anyone, just to be informed that nobody has looked at my query and that my debit order amount is R200 extra this month because of the 2 x penalties added. I find this totally wrong as I was never informed that they would debit and because I paid via EFT before second penalty applied.
