My contract with Vodacom was due to expire this year at the end of August. They have been contacting me and harassing with calls for me to upgrade my phone but I was not interested.

Conveniently, 2 months before my contract expires, a situation arises where someone apparently took an upgrade on my contract. When I call Vodacom to explain that I did not initiate the upgrade, it suddenly becomes my problem where I must go make affidavids and certified FICA docs and fax it to them. Why didn't they ask for FICA documents in the first place from the person that was doing the upgrade? All of this could have been avoided.By not asking for those documents, I feel they have violated my security and trust.

What irritates me the most is that I call them every single day to try and sort out something that they are responsible for and there is always some excuse and I'm being moved from one agent to the next and they hang up on me, ducking and diving.

This is unacceptable and really disappointing. If I was calling them for a sale, I'm pretty sure the experience would've been totally different!
