Debit Order date

I took out a personal loan with FNB in October 2012. When signing the contract it was stated that my salary payment date is inconsistent, and that the debit order date should be the last day of the month. On 26 October, FNB unsuccessfully tried to debit the account. After receiving y salary on 30 October the debit order went through. The same thing happened in November. In December we got paid before Christmas, so no problems with deducting the debit order on the 27th. In January and again now in February the first attempt to deduct the debit order was unsuccessful due to my salary only being paid close to the end of the month. We never get paid on the same date. Now my credit record is being tarnished due to FNB deciding all on their own when my debit order should be deducted after I said that my salary is never paid on the same date.
I need the debit order date changed to the last day of the month before the same thing happens again.
I called the call center to explain this, but was met with a rude attitude and being told that I cannot change the date.
