At the beginning of June I was contacted by Curtis from RewardsCo on behalf of Vodacom about upgrading one of my Vodacom cellphone contracts. I was already going to upgrade at a Vodacom shop and I really wish I'd done that instead of going with RewardsCo. They offered me an exceptional deal of a TopUp 200s with a Nokia Asha for R159 pm. I asked for the phone to be delivered after the 24th of June as I was going on holiday. When following up I was told that the upgrade was a no handset deal. I complained to RewardsCo and they said they'd listen to the tape of the conversation and get back to me. I have now followed up more times than I care to count, They agree that the consultant was at fault and that I should get the phone at that price. Every time I call I'm told the Manager (Mr/Mrs Govender) will call me and that they are waiting on Vodacom for the handset. I am still waiting! A month after I concluded the deal! I've been a Vodacom customer since 1997 and currently have 4 contracts with them, but obviously they don't care about sub contracted providers making them look bad! I am now so fed up that I am ready to cancel all my Vodacom contracts. Some action would really be appreciated.
