I upgraded my contract with Cell C in October 2012 and migrated to a higher package. The lady who assisted me recommended I take a Samsung Galaxy S3. I asked for insurance and was told that is added automatically because the handset was worth more than R5000. (It was on the website as well) When the screen broke 3 weeks ago, no one knew about this cover and also this consultant also does not work there anymore. I have escalated this matter to Cell C and was told that it is their word against mine. Now the website has been changed and I cannot find that clause! I am very disgusted with the poor customer service I was given by the person at. Every time I wanted to say something, he spoke over me as if I was insignificant!
I learnt that the cell industry sales people can claim points on a Samsung rewards site for selling Samsung phones. Well, there is the reason for the false info!!

Cell C - recall all your staff and get them trained!!
