I went into the eastgate CNA store (09/04/2013) to do a claim for my cell phone that got. While waiting for the claim to go through, I insurance another phone of mine which was a Samsung galaxy S3. I asked if something had to happened will it be fully insured and I was told yes. On the 30/04/2013 I got pick pocketed. My cell phone and bank card got . on the 01/05/2013 I took all my documents that was required to do the claim. When I went to the store on Friday 04/05/2013 I was told that my claim didn't go through as it isn't insurance. On Monday I contacted the call centre, Tiisetso sorted out my issue. On Tuesday I called finrite and spoke to Gavin who told me that he didn't receive the documents. He contacted the store and had the documents mailed to him. This Morning I get a call to say my claim is approved for R5000.00. a Samsung S3 is worth aprroximately R8000.00. when I took the insurance I was assured that I will get my Samsung s3 back if I did do a claim. It is not fair on the consumer that we are given the incorrect information as now I'm sitting with an issue. All I want is my Samsung S3. It's the incompetent staff at eastgate CNA that caused this issue.
