I noticed on my bill that I was charged R430 for Data on my May account in addition to the 500mb of data I receive free per month. At 15c per MB this comes to 2, 6 GB of additional data in addition to the 500Mb mentioned before. That comes to over 3 Gb of data which seems impossible as my home internet usage is not even close to that. When I called the call centre the call kept dropping due to Cell C's poor signal. Eventually I managed to speak to someone who transferred my call to the technical department who again transferred my call again back to the billings department. No one seemed to be able to assist. Eventually (3rd time) after providing the security questions to someone I got through to an agent that could not even do the basic maths above or tell me why the charges were so high or even tell me my data usage. This happened just before the call cut out again. I eventually gave up and resorted to Hello Peter as I have no idea how I will get this issue resolved. Other complaints include shocking signal, calls dropping almost every time and my Iphone battery lasting only a few hours despite turning almost everything off. Worst decision ever was signing a 2 year contract.
