I upgraded my MTN contract on the 6th of December. On the new contract I receive 350MB data each month. As my contract period runs from the12th-11th of each month, I was told that I will only receive the new data bundles on 12 Dec. Then I've noticed that all my data usage was deducted from my Talktime. I phoned the 808 number had to hang on for longer than 2 hours and be cut off or never got through. However, when I phoned 0831808 from a landline or Vodacom phone, I got through almost immediately (none of the call centre operators could explain this to me). Eventually I was told that I used 350MB data and that's why my Talktime is being utilised-this was just not possible as I use Wifi and my phone tracks my data usage. I eventually went to the MTN store in Clearwater where a call was logged and my data eventually restored. I was told to then phone 808 again to correct my Talk Time balance that was used for data in error - I have to date not been able to get this sorted out or explained to one of your call centre operators and even though I have numberous reference numbers, they apparently don't mean anything when you follow up on them.
