In one month I have received worse treatment from Cell C than nine years at Vodacom.

I signed up for a deal with 200 minutes, 200 sms's and 500 MB of data (200 300) @ R254 per month. I conformed this 3 times during the telephonic contract arrangement: done verbally via the call centre. The contract went through and I was only given 200 minutes, 200 sms's and 200 MB of data and "conveniently" charged for the 300MB that I used over and above the 200MB! Therefore, in a clear breach of contract, I was charged R297 extra for the 300MB.

I have since phoned in to Cell C a number of times and have even gone in to a branch - each time with, the same response: "We can't do anything about it. We will lodge it with the technicians and they will get back to you". For days nothing happened.

Finally, a received an sms from "the technicians" that I should provide the details of the call of my contract?! Contract details that THEY recorded and that THEY have! Why do they even record it if they don't keep it?

In hindsight I think I should have stayed with a reliable company like Vodacom in which I had none of this nonsense in the 9 years I was with them.
