I called Vodacom to port my number to cell they told me I needed to call portals gave me the number I called the portal number and they told me I needed to call cancellations before I could port my number, I called cancellations was told I needed to cancel my contract and go onto prepaid I needed top switch off my phone for 24 hours and then call back to have my number ported to my new provider, I was also told I could purchasew airtime at an atm or shop on my number cancelled as pre-paid.
I called back today to the portal number and spoke to 4 consultants of which 3 could not herlp me they all told me I was through to customer service not portals even though the number I called has a message stating this number is only for portals you should call 111 if you need customer services.

This morning I went to an ATM to buy time for my now pre paid contract much to my dismay the atm rejected my purchase-- reason my number had been cancelled.
I also spoke to a supervisor Vincent who gave me this reference no 2989957127

All i want is for vodacom to port my existing numbers to Cell c 0823723551 0824506809 is that so difficult to do, their service is pathetic
