Ported my number and won't release

I was going to take out a contact from Alltech in Sunridge (and port my Vodacom prepaid to them) they apparently ported on the Friday before I had signed anything. I found the contract cheaper at Cell C and decided to go with their contract. Cell C have tried to port my number four times but cannot as altech will not release, altech have no record of my number or ID. I even phoned JHB (call centre cannot get through because it repeatedly asks for my number actually used an 011 number) They say they cannot see my number on their system, this means that I have spent 5 days trying to get a new phone which I need and no one will assist me. all I want is to port my "Vodacom" pre paid sim to cell C contract - but according to cell C porting department my sim is "owned" by altech cell c. Not impressed with the lack of service and cannot even get through to call centre - pathetic! glad I did not take out that contact
