On 11 June, I sent a request to have the contract terminated after fruitless attempts to have MTN debit my account with only subscription fees owing as I am not using the sim card. At first I was told I had a subscription which I knew nothing of and that's why my bill came to exorbitant amounts ranging from R800 to R1000. On Friday, 21 June I received an email to say early termination costs will be calculated. I followed up today (24th) with Mbali who gave me a nasty attitude about a system being offline. I don't want any dealings with MTN and because of sheer incompetence and poor service, my account will soon be debited with another ridiculous amount I cannot justify. For the life of me, I want the contract terminated... as a matter or urgency as I cannot stand being ripped off again!
