We recently signed on for a 24month data contract with a fastlink modem and 2.GB data per month.
MTN is charging R2 per KILObyte downloaded after your 2GB (which is not capped by the way and no one tells you this either!!!) is finished.

Unsuspecting customers such as ourselves have been slapped with close to R4000 bill for downloading an extra 2MB! This is daylight and absolutely unacceptable.

We have tried contacting MTN but operators at the call centre cannot help you and there is NO email address to be found ANYWHERE on mtns site. I have even posted a complaint on Hellopeter before and, while we received a response - there is no way to contact the person back - WENZILE???

We refuse to pay this bill or any other ridiculous amounts... regardless of contract "terms and conditions" - if such terms arent pointed out blatantly then it amounts to exploitation!
