My 24 month contract has lapsed and i have been trying since Sunday to migrate to a prepaid account. After physically going into the Zevenwaght branch on Sunday, the consultant informed me that she could assist me but i should dial the 808 number. I did this and was advised that i should call again the following day as the department that deals with these matters are closed on weekends. Monday morning i call 808 to be tols to visit my nearest branch as i now had to complete a document requesting to migrate to a prepaid account. So i once again use my valuable time and go the the cape gate branch and do the necessary paperwork. Why i wasnt told to do this initially, i dont know. I was assured that the documentation will be emailed to the necessary people, but 24 hours larer, i called to confirm but told that they did not receive any documentation. I eas clever enough to ask them to cc me on this mail and sent it through 6 times myself (proof in my sent items folder) to be told that MTN did still not receive anything to date. Is this a ploy to prevent me from cancelling my contract or moving over to a network which values their clients? All i want is to cancel my contract!
