Currently i am on a MTN 200 topup 24 month subscription which expired Jan 2013. On the monday 13 May, i called the MTN cancellation department to cancelled my subscription and to migrate over to a prepaid subscription. After 30 minutes holding on the line trying to talk to one of the consultants, i was informed that it will take 24 hours to migrate to prepaid. Later the day i received an sms that my subscription was successfully migrated to a contract service.
Which contract service and why not prepaid as requested. I can now call without recharging my cellphone. WIll i be billed for a contract service i have not signed up for. MTN cannot give me an answer.
