1 week later - not one word. Phones just ring

I went into MTN Clearwater Mall on Monday afternoon (3 June 2013) to open up a cell phone contract. I was assisted by a lady. The contract was for a Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini at R249 a month. She was having trouble uploading it as it kept saying it was R299 and I wasn't budging on my budget. She then said it will take 24 working hours to approve the contract. That meant by Thursday/Friday so I was patient and only phoned on Friday. Well atleast I tried to phone. All numbers listed just ring. No one has answered the phone to this day (Monday 10th June) and I don't have a clue what has happened so I can't even tell them to call the whole thing off as I'm going to go to another provider. It is a pity as I have a contract with MTNSP and have used MTN for contract and now prepaid services for the past 4 years or so which I will now be stopping and MTN won't even care. Just like Cell C didn't care. MTN is slipping behind their competitors in terms of infrastructure and have shocking customer service records. I would be interested to know what happened but I guess I never will. I'll have to just hope they don't start debiting my account!
