On Monday the 4th March, I called Cell C direct to take out a new contract and to port my number from MTN. My biggest mistake. After a 40 min conversation to sign up the new contract, I was told that they will only deliver the phone and contract within 7 working days and that I was the only person who can receive it and that they they would deliver it to my home between working hours. Do they think that we are all sitting around at home between 8 and 5? When I explained to them that I use my phone for business and there for the only time I would be able to be at home during working hours was Friday afternoon that same week, I was assured that my phone would be delivered to me then, but that they would confirm. I heard nothing more and tried to get hold of 084 145 option two, (Which is the option to follow up on applications), For the entire week and no one answers. in my desperation, as my mtn contract was now cancelled and was struggling along on prepaid with no data service, I tried option 1, (which is sales), and of course they answered first time. Tells you where their priorities are, once they have you they don't care about service!!! It is now Monday night still no joy
