I've applied for the a 2G MTN promo and specified the should be on be on a top up standard. I was granted the contract and modem, after the device was setup I could only use on the 2G (EDGE) speed and wasn't very happy with the contract. Hardly ever used the device for two months and was billed for the appropriated amount.

On the 26 May my contract was suspended, meaning my cellphone contract as well. Wasn't sure how thus could happen and went to the store for assistance.

Got a shock that my data account was R1400.

I couldn't understand why the data bundle could reach that limit, so they informed me that data bundle was on ANYTIME. Asked them what steps I can take to resolve this issue and they simply replied I must get the contract. After contacting the MTN webservice and asking them for assistance regarding this account, they couldn't help and suggested I should get Itemized billing. Went back on the 28 May to the store with the contract in hand and spoke to Anele. He sort of tried to help me and he promised he would take it up with his manger and contact me on Monday 3 June. Still no word from him or the manager.
VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE AFTER SERVICE, will swop providers.
