Really disappointed in Vodacom!!

In April we went to a Vodacom Store to ask when our Data Deal expires, they then informed me that we can upgrade. End of April we went to Vodacom Canal Walk to upgrade. The sales lady informed us that we will still pay the previous deal's amount end of the month, and from the new month onwards we will pay the amount of the new deal.

End May when my debit order went off - it was double the amount. When I phoned Customer Care to query this - they informed me that since I upgraded on 34 months I will still have to pay for the laptop on my previous data bundle for another 2 months! The sales lady NEVER informed me about this - coz if she did I WOULD NOT have upgraded for another 2 months.

Went back to Canal Walk this morning and spoke to Manager there - all they say is sorry sir, we can log a complaint but you did sign a contract.

This is not good enough. Can Vodacom not train their staff properly?! I don't have the money to pay for 2 laptops!! How can you not inform someone of vital information like this?! I refuse to pay for something that could have been avoided if it was done properly.

Never again will I take out any contract with Vodacom if this is how they do business
