Lack of information that leads to uninformed decis

I am a Vodacom customer for years now... I have 3 contracts with them amounting to R1841.00 per month. It is more than some people earn per month... I phoned customer care to enquire on when I am allowed to upgrade, I was informed that I am allowed to upgrade this month. Happy as I was, I went ahead and upgraded only to find out with my first invoice that I am not liable for R699 as stipulated in the contract I chose but R949. The call center operator failed to inform me that I will be liable for my old contract for 4 months whilst paying the upgraded contract as well. This is vital information in making a choice on when to upgrade. If I was informed of this I would not have upgraded, I would have waited, as I cannot afford this installment. This lack of information will lead to myself cancelling all 3 my contracts with Vodacom as soon as the contract periods have laps; with the first being in march.
