Monthly account increased by R2200???

My husband received a call from Rewards Company offering an upgrade. He opted for an S3 mini. He clearly asked the call centre consultant how much extra will it cost me, she replied R50!! We received the phone. Then to our horror the account is now sitting at R3800 it was previously R1500. It appears the problem is that a data bundle was not loaded and we are paying adhoc for data. We have spent a long time on the phone trying to sort this matter out. In fact we are being pushed from pillar to post as no one wants to take responsibility for this query. As far as we are concerned it is a Vodacom product and Vodacom should help us to sort this issue out. Please can someone call me urgently so I can get this matter resolved. I do not have an extra R2200 to pay because of someone elses mistake. We have been loyal customers of Vodacoms for the last 10 years!!!
