Mistreaded & blatantly to? Great start guys!!

I was eager to order ADSL for my home from Telkom. The sales person was helpful & informative. I completed the forms & had seemingly provided everything that was required of me. I re-checked repeatedly that the costs I was told about were the ONLY cost that were expected of me. I was assured that the initial instillation fee & the monthly payments were the only costs I would be faced with. I then asked if there was ANYTHING else that was needed from me MORE than once. I was told very clearly that my order HAD BEEN PUT THROUGH & I would receive and sms shortly & that Telkom would contact me within the next 10 days to set up the ADSL.
On 1 June 2013 I had still not received an sms from Telkom to confirm or request anything as I was told I would. I went back and upon entering my details I was immediately told nothing would be done until a deposit was paid - when I asked why I was not told of this on the day when I specifically asked or why I wasn't notified she could not tell me.
I made the order when I did for urgent reasons & must now wait for 4 weeks instead of 2 if not more for their mistake. I was treated as though it was my problem - I asked repeatedly and would have paid then!?
