Telkom extremly slow with orders

I've applied to move my Telkom account to a new address. The order was made (2 Jan) and more than a week later a technician called me to confirm the address. The lady at Telkom customer service (TCS) filed my old address as my new one and I had to make a new order. I was on the phone for a couple of hours to sort out the fault Telkom made.

A week after that the technician came and activated my line. I specifically asked him to activate ADSL on the line. The next day I found out he didn't. So my ISP (Afrihost) made a new order on my behalf for ADSL to be enabled on my line. I called TCS and the lady told me that my order should be finished within 3 days. 5 working days later I called TCS again and my order was escalated and I was told Telkom will call me in the next 3 hours. After 5 hours I called again and the lady told me it will be active at the end of the day. The next day I called again and the lady told me it might take another week for it to be activated.

No one at Telkom knows what is going on, and the activation is done remotely - so why does it take so long? I'm currently paying my ISP for an account, but I can't use it, since Telkom is constantly screwing up my order.
