Two weeks ago I had an issue with Telkom not arriving to install a phone and ADSL line, after hours spent on the phone trying to fix the problem they eventually came and installed the line. Once the line had been installed I signed up for an internet connection through a separate ISP. I asked this ISP to manage my ADSL line as they have a cheaper rate. I then received word from the ISP they could not process my request as Telkom had not signed off my order as complete, once I heard this I phoned Telkom and they said the order had now been singed off. Again I put through a request to my ISP who again told me Telkom had not signed off the order. This is now two weeks later and still no word from Telkom, who were supposedly meant to call me back. Each day this continues it means I have to pay more to Telkom than I would need to through the ISP . I have had 4 escalations placed on previous orders, none of which solved the issue and none of those times did anyone from Telkom contact me, I had to keep phoning back until the issue was sorted. Personally I have had problems with Telkom every single time I have placed an order, over 4 times just from 1 customer. I find this shocking.
