I have been endlessly battling to cancel my contract with Cell C, I was at the Randfontein branch and they gave me a letter of cancelation of which I filled in and send to the [Email Removed] on the 1st of March 2013, my last statement and payment should be at the end of March, then to my surprise I received an account for the end of April and they tried to deduct the instalment from my bank account. I phoned the customer service and they assured me that they will correct the mistake on their side and cancel the contract; then again I received a statement for the end of May. I again send them an email on the 13th of May 2013 requesting customer service and cancellation of the contract, but still they are deducting the money from my account. I cannot use the phone as they have managed to completely disconnect the simcard from the service and when I spoke to the customer service consultant I was advised to do a sim swop of which I have to pay for the charges after they have disconnected it. When I did complain about this they said that the simcard is faulty, sounds easy to blame the simcard after the mistake they made and I am the one to pay for this.
