I received an SMS on the 6th May informing me that i have reached 80% of my account limit on my Blackberry contract with BIS, I looked on MTN active's website to find out what this was all about only to find that over R1500 airtime value that I had accumulated over the months was gone and an additional charge R876.75 had been charged for the usage of 1.5 gigs of data. I only use my ADSL's wifi and bis on my phone so i should have no extra charges besides for my monthly contract fee. I lodged 2 billing queries (ref:99745424;Ref:99744962) and 1 customer complaint (ref:99745712) on MTN active's website on the 6th & 7th May which have now been marked closed however its been 19 days and I have not had any response from MTN nor have they credited my account. MTN's lack of customer service is absolutely appalling and I will definitely consider changing networks when my contract expires!
