Can't provide Itemized bill

About three years ago, I've received a ridiculous large invoice. I've contacted them and requested an itemized bill to verify the invoice. I've never received anything from them. My account was obviously suspended, and with reason, I'm refusing to pay the outstanding amount.

A year later I received a call from a lawyer informing me that I've been handed over to them for the outstanding amount of my Vodacom account. Again I requested the itemized bill. The lawyer requested me to get an Afo Davis to give them the legal right to request the itemized bill. No reply after that from the lawyer. About six months later, another lawyer informed me that I've been handed over to them. Again I had to provide an Afo Davis to request an itemized bill. Nothing came off it again. A year later, I've been informed by another lawyer that I've been handed over again by Vodacom. Again the same story, accept now they want to come and collect my phone and other items to make up the invoice amount.

As far as I understand, I have the right to request an itemized bill, and Vodacom must provide me with one. I want to end this fight with Vodacom. What am I to do.
