Hi

My neighbourhood experienced poor cell phone reception from MTN (Vodacom is fine) on both voice and data connectivity. Calls frequently break up, get dropped and data requests times out.

I reported this issue to MTN via their website on 10 April 2013 with reference number 6447916 and I was told that technicians will look at it. That is where it stopped. On 18 April 2013 I replied to the email which informed me that technicians are looking at it, and I was merely told that the call with reference number 0034346 was opened again and that a "coverage coordinater" (sic) will be in contact with me. Nothing happened. I had to send five emails before one response came to say that my query was escalated again. Two more emails from me and I got the same feedback.

In total, I have made contact with them 10 times in the last month and I got nothing more than "we will look at it and give you feedback". Nothing more.

The neighbourhood still have issues with coverage and MTN is not interested!

MTN, will you respond to the query if it is logged here, and should I log all my requests from the start here?
