I received a letter of demand from MTN last week from their lawyers saying i need to settle an amount of 5276.55 which includes interest of 15%. the reason being i have been contacting mtn since October 2012 to change my banking details for the debit and have submitted all documents and even now they have not updated my details which put account in arreras. I called their legal and spoke to Mashudu asking to make an arrangement for the arreras and for them to reinstate my debit order and he said they cannot do that. I need to pay the full amount of the arreras then they will reinstate my debit order. I have all correspondence on email that i have been calling in and asking for my baning details to be updated and now they have handed me over to their lawyers. I would liek the interest to be reversed, and arrangement put in place with MTN not their lawyers and my debit order reinstated. And the attitude of the consultants was very bad, they were rude.
