I am updated my debit order details many days before the debit order went off. I received an email stating that the details was changed. the payment was suppose to go of on the 1st April but when the debit order didn't't go through they did not notify me they waited 9 days later to suspend my medical aid contract and demanded money.

When i phoned they said they have all my NEW banking details it was simply JUST NOT UPDATED - because of incompetency (my opinion). I spoke to a manager who just said SORRY "but" don't worry we will deduct the money from your account tomorrow.

I asked what would happen to me if i were in a car accident etc. His answer was that i have to send then a proof of debit order deduction then they will reinstate my membership.

So I wrote a complaint and send through the proof of deduction. When i phone to to confirm that they received it I told him that i have an complaint and that i wrote it in my email. he said that the person who reads the email will reply - he doesn't help me on the spot.

so only 3 days later i get a reply on my mail stating that my debit details have been changed. STILL NO ONE HAS RESPONDED ON MY COMPLAINT.
