No response to query over undelivered items

We purchased a number of dvd's and dvd sets from Kalahari at the end of November 2013 for Christmas presents. When they were not delivered we contacted Kalahari by email on 13 December and received a reply on 18 December saying that the goods were dispatched and were handed to Nampost in Namibia by DHL on 28 November 2013.

We went to the central post office to enquire and were told there is nothing there for us. We then received an email on 15 January asking for our contact details as apparently DHL in Namibia are trying to contact us. We provided those details by email on 16 January but have had no response since.

We paid for these goods in November and have had no delivery and have had no response at all from the supplier in 11 days despite a follow up email on 23 January 2014. We are not inclined to complain and will work with suppliers and contacts as much as possible but when we come up against a refusal to even acknowledge our emails we are left no choice but to complain - especially over two months after failed delivery.
