Kalahari ruins Christmas

We as a family were planning a long caravan trip through Namibia for the Christmas holiday. We decided to buy the children's present using our eBucks through [URL Removed] This was done in the second week of November. As we would be leaving on the 29th of November we purposefully chose items from their website that indicated in-stock and would ship within 48hrs. After four days we received an email from Kalahari indicating that they were very sorry but that the items could only be delivered soonest on the 10th of December. This would be way to late as we would already be on the road. We immediately tried to cancel the order online, however we were informed by the website that there was a technical problem and that this was not possible. Next we phoned customer service who informed us that we needed to do it on the website. We informed them what the website was saying and they indicated that they would do this manually which eventually happened two days later. We were then informed that we would only be receiving our refund in seven to ten days. This means that there was now no funds to buy anything from another more reliable vendor. Thanks Kalahari!
