Broken Remote Control

I bought one of the best Samsung TV's from Hi Fi Corporation and after 3 weeks the remote control stopped working. When I bought the TV i have said several times to the sales consultant I don't want the Extended Warranty but he kept on trying to convince me that its the best cover possible until i bought it. I asked him several times is everything covered and he said with all confidence that everything is covered and if something is broken they will replace it with no questions asked, never did he mentioned to me that the remote control isn't covered. Now that the remote is broken i just get a cold shoulder from the Manager and sales consultants. I did phone the manager and he never even came back to me. Now that they have made their money out of me i am not important anymore? I really don't want a apology as it is not going to get my remote fixed. I want my money back or a new Remote.
