Poor service and damaged goods at Wynberg Branch

Dear Manager of MultiChoice,

I am Ransom Nformi, a DSTV subscriber and a Multichoice customer. I recently bought a DSTV decoder which was on special and packaged with a remote control at the MultiChoice office in Wynberg Cape Town. I was told by the lady who sold me the device that I had a one month guarantee on the remote control as well as the decoder.
I used the remote control for about 2 months until I realised that the remote control stopped functioning. I called the Manager of the branch and explained the matter to her and she says I must buy new remote control without any form of compensation or repair. I expressed my dissatisfaction and she kept on insisting rather with a rude voice that I must pay for a new remote control or leave the MultiChoice branch. I laid a case with the Police in Wynberg and they explained to her what had happened.
She insistedna and rudely chased me out of the DSTV/Multichoice office. I felt so embarrassed as I have been a Premium customer of Multichoice for 5 years now and never had problems with Multichoice or DSTV.
I need to speak to a Manager of MultiChoice as I very disappointed at the service offered at the Wynberg branch office.
