On the 25th of October 2013 I purchased goods from the Truworths at Secunda Mall. While the sales person was processing the transaction she damaged the goods. She at first tried to give me damaged goods until I told her that I do not want a torn pair of pants. To address the issue the items were returned. I purchased the items with a debit card. She returned the goods and told me that the money will be transfered into my account. I questioned her statement as the receipt clearly said cash. She very rudely replied that it will be in my account. I have come to determine that the money is not in my account. I contacted Truworths and was told that I must bring a bank statement and the receipts and will; be given a refund. I went to Truworths with all the documents and no assitance or refund was offered. The staff do not know what to do! On both occasions the 25th October and 14th November the manager is unavaliable. The staff is clearly not trained properly as they do not know what to do. In total I have wasted 2 hours trying to resolve the issue. Can Truworths please resolve the issue, ensure a manager is on duty and ensure staff is properly trained!
