Hi there, I tried returning clothes I purchased from Truworths on Sunday at the Centurion Mall branch, but was immediately turned down because the goods were purchased 21 Jan 2013, which is past the return policy.
The goods I purchased was for my honeymoon, as i got married on 26 Jan 2013 and was on honeymoon, only returning the first week of March. I understand the policy states 30 days, but i had the original invoice, all the goods had their tags and you could clearly see they have never been worn. The reason I couldn't return them within the stipulated 30 days is because I was on honeymoon, Surely Truworths can understand this??
I had to return 2 items to Foshini as well (with whom I do not even have an account) and after I explained my situation the manager was willing to assist me. So how come Truworths can't assist their clients.
Please can you assist, and if not, then kindly provide me with the outstanding amount so I can settle it immediately (which is the amount of the good I want to return) and then close my account as I do not want to support a company who does not have understanding for their clients.
