Don not buy a Tv from Makro

My son bought me a new 46 inch LED Sinotech TV from Makro on the 17 th of August 2013 for my birthday. He paid R5999.99 - a lot of money. The Tv broke down a mere month and ten days later. The next working day I took the TV to Makro for a replacement Tv which I am entitled to by law (Consumer Protection Act). They refused delivery and told me to take the Tv home - they will send somebody to my home to take a look and replace the Tv within 48 hours if found faulty. It has been 168 hours now and no word from them. I went down to them for two times again and they refused to give me a copy of the report I filed on Monday the 9th of September 2013 or the tel no of the persons who must come out to my home. While standing in line a the return department two others persons who was also in line told me they had the same experience with TV's bought from Makro with the same run around. I am a disability pensioner and this is the way I am being treated. I missed DSTV for a whole week now and I am a sport fan - gone were the USA open finals and the rugby and the Strictly come dancing finals. Poor, Poor service. Everything is still in it's original packing
