Incorrect billing

On the 28th of may my acount balance was R483 and i made a payment of R250 but my balance has off today reflects has R409 this seems to be incorrect because R483 minus R250 equals to R233 where does the accounts department gets the amount of R409 i expect identity to sort out this problem and give me the correct amount so i can make the payment and close this account because this seems has a total rip off
