Dating back to March this year, I had two complaints logged onto the system by a manager with regards to an expired product being sold on the shelves that I had accidentally purchased, without verifying the expiry date. Additionally, finding a foreign object being a MAJOR health hazard, in a salad mix that I had purchased. I was informed that I would receive a response within three to four working days from the Head office. A week later, I had not received any feedback, as assured. Reasonably, I had contacted the manager and had requested for an update. He had politely informed me that the one complaint was not displayed on the system and that he would re-log the complaint and keep me up-to-date. Awaiting their phone call, which never followed, being the courteous customer I called them numerous times AND additionally went into the branch four times to follow up on the complaint. Three weeks ago, the manager had informed me that he would re-log the complaint for the THIRD time and up until today, he still has not contacted me to inform me of the recent update. I am appalled as a devoted Woolworths customer at the level of service I have received, specifically from a manager.
