I've been trying a long time to lay a complaint against an ABSA staff member (not from Centurion Branch). I visited the Platinum Manager and he promised to address the problem. I've sent him e-mails but it was returned. I went into the bank and left my business card for my account manager to contact me. No response. I went in again and ask the account manager to send me a test mail. After I received it, I forwarded her all the details of my complaint and the issues surrounding it. I'm yet to receive acknowlegement of receipt. I've sent at least two mails enquiriing about progress. No response. I went in to the branch on Saturday and was promised feedback by 13H00 yesterday. Up to this date, no feedback, no acknowledgement of receipt of my complaint, no response to my e-mails. In the meantime, the other section of ABSA, to which my complaint relates, constantly phone me. I had to send them proof that I've laid the complaint at the branch. I've forwarded my complaint to the branch on 6 May 2013. Up to this date nothing.
